The Telecomix Computing Certificate (TCC) will make sure internet users are skilled for data love.

Blackfax

User must be familiar of how to send a blackfax message the old fashioned way.

Equipment needed: 2 faxes (old fashion), one telephone switchboard.

Code "hello world" in five programming languages and five natural languages

User needs to demonstrate basic programming skills. User must be able to print "hello world" in the languages ADA, Python, Fortran, Erlang and BASIC (C64). Also, user must be able to do translate the hello world message into five natural languages.

Pick handcuffs

User must demonstrate skills in handcuff picking. Handcuffs must be real, preferably issued by national police.

Hack WEP encryption on wireless network

User must be familiar with some basic wireless hacking. In order to pass this test, the user must sniff the password of a WEP 128 bit wireless router network.

Design a kopimi-pyramid

User must create a kopimi-pyramid. Material of own choice. Creativity encouraged. Examples of techniques: paper, scissors, glue. knitting. clay.
